Copywriter, Comms
Tenstorrent
Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.
At Tenstorrent, we build computers for AI, and the developers shaping its future.
Our high-performance RISC-V CPUs, modular chiplets, and scalable compute systems give developers full control at every layer of the stack, at any scale from a single-node experimentation to data center-scale deployment.
We believe in an open future. Our architecture and software are designed to be edited, forked, and owned. Our team of engineers, dreamers, and first-principle thinkers is redefining how hardware and software converge to accelerate innovation.
Tenstorrent's comms team is growing, and the timing isn't an accident. We have multiple products coming to market, new solutions in the pipeline, and a story that the industry is paying attention to. We're looking for a copywriter who can help us tell it – in our own way. You’ll get your hands dirty working across a myriad of content. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is comfortable stepping in, rolling up their sleeves, and writing to shape the future.
This role is remote, based out of the United States.
We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.
Who You Are
- You follow AI and hardware closely enough to have opinions.
- You write like you talk: clear, direct, no fluff.
- You have a sixth sense for when a sentence will make an engineer roll their eyes.
- You simplify hard things without dumbing them down.
- You know when to ask questions or where to search for answers.
What We Need
- 3+ years of copywriting experience, ideally in tech or a technical-adjacent industry.
- Demonstrated ability to write for both technical and business audiences.
- A portfolio that shows range, from social posts to long form content and everything in between.
- Familiarity with the AI/ML landscape (hardware knowledge is a plus, not a dealbreaker).
- Strong instincts for editing your own work (less is usually more).
What You Will Learn
- The inner workings of a state of the art AI company and why the compute architecture decisions being made right now will define the next decade.
- Translating genuinely novel technology into stories that land with developers, enterprises, and everyone in between.
- Using comms as a tool to support a growing product focused AI company.
- Creating and maintaining a brand one sentence at a time.
- A new level of transparency that comes with a company building an Open Future.
