This role is for an expert who will lead the strategic deployment and management of our global data center and lab infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in computing hardware and AI, capable of quickly understanding product needs to align infrastructure globally. Key responsibilities include overseeing all phases of data center builds, managing the allocation of capacity, deploying equipment to labs, and handling budgets and vendor relationships. This role will report to our Sr. Staff, Corporate Infrastructure.

This role is hybrid based in Toronto, ON, Austin, TX, or Santa Clara, CA. This role will also require frequent international travel.

Who You Are

  • An expert project manager adept in delivering complex technical projects.
  • You have curiosity about hardware and AI, with a desire to become an expert on TT products.

What We Need

  • Expertly lead all phases of data center builds ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional engineering, product and supply chain teams.
  • Drive the capacity planning and allocation process for both data center and lab resources and become very familiar with our internal hardware build plan.
  • Ability to coordinate installation and commissioning of physical infrastructure, including server racks, power, cooling, and structured cabling.
  • Manage the end-to-end logistics and deployment of hardware into our lab environments.
  • Standardize and execute safety and compliance protocols across global lab environments and data center facilities.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of all network hardware and systems.
  • Develop and manage budgets, work with vendors, and create project timelines.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
