Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.

At Tenstorrent, we’re not just building chips - we’re building an open future for computing. We believe hardware should be bold, collaborative, and free from gatekeepers. To make that future real, we need to bring in the next generation of thinkers and builders who care about open hardware as much as we do. This is where you come in: shaping how future engineers first encounter Tenstorrent, and giving them a clear path to make an impact. The program you’ll lead isn’t just about hiring - it’s about creating a community of people who want to build the future of computing together.

This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, Austin or Toronto.

We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Who You Are

  • A builder at heart, motivated by creating things that last.
  • Drawn to bold ideas, open hardware, and the freedom to innovate.
  • Energized by autonomy and ownership; you’d rather design from scratch than inherit someone else’s playbook.
  • Comfortable blending strategy and execution - you like leading, but you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
  • Excited by the chance to influence both students and seasoned engineers with your vision.

What We Need

  • 8+ years of recruiting experience in fast-paced tech environments.
  • Hands-on track record building and scaling a university recruiting program.
  • A programmatic mindset - able to put structure, process, and metrics in place for global initiatives.
  • Proven ability to design and run unconventional university events and partnerships.
  • Communication skills that resonate with students, professors, and senior leaders alike.

You’ll Learn How To

  • Build a global program that makes Tenstorrent the place for top students to launch their careers.
  • Create new kinds of university experiences that move past career fairs and into genuine collaboration.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to define success and bring in the talent that makes it possible.
  • Shape the candidate journey so every interaction reflects our culture of openness and innovation.
  • Leave your mark by designing a program that challenges convention and scales with Tenstorrent’s mission.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.

Tenstorrent offers a highly competitive compensation package and benefits, and we are an equal opportunity employer.
