We are seeking a dynamic People Operations to join our fast-growing team and help promote our. This role is crucial in fostering our people-first culture and ensuring a positive work environment that aligns with our mission.
Responsibilities
What Will You Be Doing?
Collaborate closely with the People Team to ensure an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This is an on-site role to ensure the best support for the team.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Champion Darrow’s people-first culture by creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging employee experience across all offices.
- Plan and coordinate employee events, team activities, and culture initiatives that support connection and belonging.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions and memorable experiences.
Recruitment Coordination
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts — from job posting and candidate communication to interview scheduling and feedback coordination.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess fit and alignment with company values.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to ensure an efficient, positive, and well-structured recruitment process.
Office Operations & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth, well-functioning, and welcoming workspace.
- Manage office supplies, kitchen inventory, and equipment — ensuring resources are available and budget-efficient.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers (e.g., facilities, IT, cleaning, catering).
- Track and manage the office operations budget, including purchasing and expense reporting.
- Support hybrid and remote team logistics (meeting setups, team travel coordination, office events).
General HR Support
- Assist with HR documentation, policies, and systems management.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on process improvements and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help maintain compliance with employment regulations and internal procedures.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Office Management, or People Operations - preferably in a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - approachable, empathetic, and service-oriented.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Comfortable conducting initial phone screenings and coordinating interview processes.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and office logistics
- Detail-oriented with strong administrative and coordination skills (e.g., scheduling, documentation, systems updates).
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and familiarity with HR tools or ATS systems (e.g., Comeet, Greenhouse, Lever).
- A proactive, can-do attitude — willing to jump in, learn quickly, and make things happen.
- Passionate about creating a positive employee experience and contributing to a warm, people-first culture.

- Darrow provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay (base salary) for this role is $70,000 - $80,000.
* Please note that if the years of experience are lower than the required qualifications, the salary range may be adjusted accordingly.
